The Service is operated by IMLINK LIMITED, a company registered in England (company number 14238908), with its registered business address at 411 Oxford Street, office 1.01, W1C 2PE London, England, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. We act as the data controller for the Data described in this Policy.
CL2ES is a platform for short links and consent management (opt-in and opt-out) across text messaging channels. This Policy covers the Data we handle both from our own website visitors and from the message recipients whose consent our customers manage through the platform.
When you interact with the Service as a visitor or customer, we may collect and process the following categories of personal information:
We also collect limited technical Data automatically when you use the Service, such as the pages you view and the clicks you make on the short links we generate, so that we can operate and secure the platform.
The core function of CL2ES is to route short links and manage messaging consent on behalf of our customers. To do this, the platform assigns a unique identifier (a UUID) to each recipient’s phone number and embeds that identifier in the short link. When a recipient opens an opt-in or opt-out form, the platform resolves the recipient from the UUID and records their choice of channels and, where relevant, their reason for unsubscribing.
We process this recipient Data as a processor acting on the instructions of the customer who sent the message. The customer is responsible for having a lawful basis to contact each recipient.
We use the Data we collect to:
When a short link generated through the Service is clicked, we record the event so that the customer who created the link can measure how their message performed. Depending on the customer’s configuration, a link may also carry UTM parameters and have a defined lifetime after which it expires. We use this information to produce aggregate click analytics and to keep the redirect infrastructure reliable.
We may disclose your Data:
If the Service or our company is merged with or acquired by another company, your Data may be one of the assets transferred to the new owner.
We keep your personal information for a period ranging from 90 days to 2 years after you terminate your account, or for as long as we need it to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy. We may retain certain information for longer where required for record-keeping or reporting under applicable law, or for other legitimate reasons such as enforcing our legal rights and preventing fraud.
You may opt out of direct marketing communications, or of the profiling we carry out for marketing purposes, by writing to us at info@imlink.io.
Where local law grants you rights over your Data — such as the right to access, correct, or delete it — you can exercise those rights by contacting us using the details below.
The Service may contain links to websites that we do not operate. This Policy does not cover the practices of any third party, including any third party operating a website or service reachable through a link on the Service. We have no control over, and take no responsibility for, the content or privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of every site you visit.
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically to stay informed about how we handle your Data.
